Get rdy: Competitive guide for April 3rd-9th
The weekend is almost here and that usually means events and competitive matches are in full swing. With this season's packed schedule it is easy to miss something, so we've compiled a weekly planning guide to keep track of what is going on.
Counter-Strike 2

Stake Ranked Episode 1
Stake Ranked Episode 1 offers a handful of teams the chance at winning some dosh, and some much-needed VRS points with two months until the Major. BetBoom won a bunch of points last time out to the detriment of FaZe and Liquid, and can all but secure a Major spot with another win.
Games started yesterday and will continue through April 4th.
PGL Bucharest 2026
Bucharest, similarly, offers a shot to the teams just below the creme de la creme, with PARIVISION, FUT and Astralis in with a solid shot at glory with a tasty $1.25m on offer. Not bad, given there's no Vitality to beat.
The group stage begins on April 3rd with 16 teams competing in the Swiss Style format where Rounds 2 to 5 are seeded using the Buchholz system & teams' initial seeds. $625,000 is on the line.
Dota 2

There aren't any Tier 1 events happening right now.
ESL One Birmingham 2026 just crowned Tundra Esports, along with local hero Matthew “Ari” Walker, champions after taking down Team Yandex 3:1.
There is, however, a tier 2 event featuring some of the top teams.
